With Immidieate effect the following flights have been cancelled:
MET109 DXB-DOH
MET110 DOH-DXB
Due to ongoing tensions within the Arab states a travel ban has been imposed on airlines flying from The Emirates, Egypt, Saudi Arabia & Iran to Qatar. There is currently no time frame given as to when this travel ban will be lifted but we will continue to monitor the situation and resume service as soon as possible. As a result the 109 from Boston will now terminate in Dubai with all crews now being accommodated there.
The following schedule is now in place:
MET109 BOS-DXB ARR 1000*
MET110 DXB-BOS DEP 1740*
As a result of this travel ban there will be the following ferry flights from Doha to rescue stranded crew:
MET9965 DOH-SNN DEP 1200 ARR 1600*
MET996 5 SNN-DOH DEP 1645 ARR 1745*
