Feather in the wind

Approached Duesseldorf the other night and experienced some pretty interesting crosswind during this non-Metro flight:

The airport seems to be quite famous for it's wind conditions:

Certainly worth a flight if you're looking for a challenging approach  (pilot)

Wow!

Was this the airport where the Lufthansas A320/21 had to make a dramatic go around when its wing nearly clipped the runway while on short final?

There has been an incident like that in Hamburg once. They touched down already, almost got knocked over and managed to get back into the air. But that was a very close call.

I knew it was somewhere in Germany that it happened! It was a very close call from what I remember!
